To better identify the multitude of services now offered, The Mount Royal Cemetery Company decided to operate under the name Mount Royal Commemorative Services, with a logo that clearly identifies all its locations.

Many images can be brought to mind by this new symbol; the hills and valleys on Mount Royal with a sunset or sunrise, an archway, a flame, or even an open book. Its golden color represents rebirth and renewal.

With our new identity, we continue our commitment of service to the community as we have for the last one hundred and fifty years.

Our cemetery operations consist of two locations; Mount Royal Cemetery atop the northern slopes of Mount Royal in Outremont and the Hawthorn-Dale Cemetery on Sherbrooke Street East in Pointe-Aux-Trembles.

The Mount Royal Crematorium, Canada's first crematorium (1901) rests within the historic Mount Royal Cemetery property.

Mount Royal Commemorative Services has three funeral complexes conveniently located throughout Montreal. The Mount Royal Funeral Complex in Outremont, Complexe Funeraire des Trembles in Pointe-Aux-Trembles, and the Blythe Bernier Funeral Home in Park Extension.
