The Mount Royal Funeral Complex opened in 1998. Attached to the Mount Royal crematorium, the building blends into the cemetery landscape, putting the focus on the interior. Inside you'll find a wide variety of dignified indoor niches in a large marble columbarium . . . and a spiral staircase that connects 2 floors of elegant glass encased niches.

There are three tastefully appointed visitation rooms and two fully equipped reception rooms, one of which offers a panoramic view of the city below.

Mount Royal Commemorative Services also operates two other funeral properties . . . one in Park Extension and the other in Pointe-aux-Trembles. The Blythe Bernier Funeral Home has been serving the Park Extension community sine 1936. Complexe Funeraire des Trembles was opened in 1995 on the site of the historic Hawthorn-Dale Cemetery offering consumers everything under one roof.
